Who are we?

We are two traveling salespeople who have traveled around the world several times over. In our travels, we have had the joy and experience of meeting people from all walks of life.

One of the challenges of being a traveling salesperson is to look presentable at all times. Well, just in case you do meet a customer. This has never been an easy task, especially for 2 engineers by training who have always neglected their appearance. This has led us to look for clothes, which are presentable and of course, comfortable. Fortunately for us, we have been reasonably successful and during our travels made quite few friends in the garment industry.

We are sure that there are quite a few people out there like us looking for presentable and comfortable clothes. And, of course, at a reasonable price. What we are trying to do is to make such clothes available straight from the factory to the consumer via the net and word of mouth.

By removing the need of an expensive retail shop, we hope to be able to make these clothes available to you at good value.

Why Q’Coleccion?

Being a family man with three daughters, I have always been teased by my friends as to "How are the four queens?" Well, they are my four queens and my life does revolve around them.

Q is for Quarrelsome Queen, as my daughters would say (and they can be quite quarrelsome when they don’t get their way). Coleccion is the Spanish word for collection. Furthermore, with a lady business partner, does it mean “Queen’s Collection”? Or does it just simply signify “Quality & Comfort”? Well, both, I guess. For without them, I believe that this unorthodox move from electronics to garments would never have happened. After all, who else better to criticize the clothes that I bring back better than them? Who else would demand the quality and comfort more than them? (Well, when I’m lucky and the clothes are not up to par, they just end up in the storeroom. On not so lucky days,.....)
